1.- In KFA You can't tweak the main protection modules, in KSC Free You can...
2.- Kaspersky Free products don't have 2 important modules: Application Control + FireWall, apart from other extra features in paid versions.
3.- No, usually You will find the known avp.exe + avpui.exe services running.
4.- If you connect KFA and KSC Free (mandatory) to Your "My Kaspersky" account, You should not get almost any advert, except some inside the GUI, to change to paid version, but I don't think them annoying...
